Mark Doran Is Your Season 33 Champ!
That’s a wrap for Season 33!
Mark Doran, from the Central Mass. region, is now an Eastern Poker Tour Season champ!
When play started today, ninety-seven (97) players entered the field. One by one they hit the rail being just shy of his/her goal for the day. Mark started off strong and we do mean STONG!
Within the first ninety minutes, he was up to 750,000 in chips. Then, the next few hours went extremely card dead. The hand that Mark says was the hand that kept him alive was when he went all-in with pocket three’s and caught a set on the river.
“I was already half-way out the door, until the river came” said Doran. After that, he went on cruise control to the Top 16.
When he got to the Final Table, he was fifth in chips.
Mark knocked out Mark Brennan (3rd) as well as John Beady (2nd) on this Final Table.
