Jeff Wozniak Wins The October $10,000 Monthly Championship
Today at the Walpole VFW, 154 players came to play to try and win some extra Christmas money.
Jeff Wozniak, from the Central Mass region, ended up victorious against Ozzie Diaz to take the victory.
Jeff was third in chips entering the Final Table.
“My goal was to make the Top 8, then go for the “W””, said Wozniak. Jeff had a few KO’s on this final table. He said that when he knocked out John Garofalo (4th), he had the chip lead and then he could taste the win.
“I played my best game ever. No mistakes” said Jeff
Jeff also said that once his friends and region found out on Facebook that he had made the Final Table, his phone blew up with best wishes to him.
On the last hand of the event, with the blinds at 50,000/100,000.
Jeff had pocket tens vs. Ozzie’s 10♣ 8♦
An eight fell on the flop and that’s all the Ozzie could muster.
Our next Monthly will be next Saturday (December 16th) for the November $10,000.
