Eddie Holt Wins The 2023 Bar Poker Open National Championship

WE DID IT!

The Eastern Poker Tour brings home the title.

Eddie Holt, from the Charity region beat out over 1,000 players in this event and takes home $100,000!

Starting the day third in chips, he was never in any danger of dropping out early.

We did have one other EPT’er on this Final Table and that was Jeffery “Sir” Bowden. Come to find out during the livestream, Eddie beat Jeff online for the package and wouldn’t you know, Eddie was at it again against Jeff. Jeff woke up Q♠ Q♦ against Eddie’s A♠ 10♠. The turn spiked an ace which sealed Jeff’s fate. Still taking home over $7300 for his efforts.

When Eddie was heads up with Ryan Serdi, he picked up aces and doubled up his stack to nearly crippling Serdi. On the last hand of the hand, Eddie held A♦ 8♣ versus Ryan’s Q♦ 10♦. While an A♦ came on the flop, Ryan still had outs to for a straight. No straight came for Ryan which allowed Eddie to take home the title and being the 2023 Bar Poker Open National Champion!

Eddie has only been playing poker on a regular basis with Eastern Poker since 2019.
