Ryan Meleedy Wins The Season 33 March $10,000 Monthly Tournament
On a beautiful Spring Saturday, 165 players came out for their first shot of Season 33 to earn a “Wild Card” seat, oh and to win a share of the $10,000 that was up for grabs.
Another first timer wins.
Ryan Meleedy wins the Monthly. He has only been playing Eastern Poker since mid-December. With a single win in March under his belt, he qualified for today
Coming to this Final Table, Ryan was third in chips. “I felt confident with my play coming onto the Final Table. I wanted to play aggressive” said Meleedy. He also said that his goal was to put people to test when he raised a pot.
Ryan knocked out four players (including runner-up Andre Proctor). “Playing Andre heads-up was tough. He’s a tough player” said Ryan.
This single dad from Taunton is now ready to spoil his four year old son with sports. He plays twice a week whenever he can get a babysitter.
His goal – “To dominate the Season Finals next year and take the crown”.
