Makes a small raise in late position of 16,000. The small blinds jams for just over 40,000. Nick thinks about it for about 15 seconds on the pot odds and makes the call.

Player A had A♦ 2♦ while Nick had Q♦ 5♦. “No diamond please dealer” said Nick. A Jack high flop came out but on the river spikes a five to give Nick a pair and knocks out the player.

Nick now has 300,000 in chips and is looking good to make the Top 11 for Day 2.
