First Time To A Monthly For Najib Ishaq And He Takes Home A Trophy!
On the eve before “The Big Game”, One hundred sixty-nine players came to the Walpole VFW for the January $10,000 Monthly Championship prize pool.
First timer Najib Ishaq, from Rhode Island, was playing in his first ever Monthly and WON!
Najib joined the EPT back in late November and qualified for the Monthly by winning back on Jan. 30 at The Rally Sports Bar & Grill.
Najib was just a little camera-shy tonight.
For his efforts, he wins:

— Most importantly, a “Wild Card” seat into Day 2 of the Season 34 Finals!
Notes – Happy belated birthday boy Nick DeSantis, earned a “Double Stack” for the Season Finals with his 5th place finish today.
— Jim Gardner made his 3rd Final Table of the Season!
There are only a few more Monthly’s remaining before we get to our Season 34 Finals coming soon!
We will back at the Walpole VFW on March 8th for the February $10,000 Monthly Championship. Cards fly at 10am!
