Rhode Island Region Player John Germano WINS The BPO Florida Championship

The Eastern Poker Tour is proud to announce that our very own John Germano, from Rhode Island, won the Bar Poker Open Florida Championship that was held at the Palm Beach Kennel Club this past weekend.

Germano had to sideswipe a few landmines along the way to make it to the Final Table.

Of course, no BPO Final Table is allowed to not only have one EPT’er on the felt, Gerry McKinney Jr. also from Rhode Island joined John as well.

Gerry fell just short of winning, finishing in fourth place and taking home a nice payday of $7114.

With this win, John not only takes home $30,000, a nice trophy, John also has a WPT (World Poker Tour) freeroll ticket for next week at the Wynn in Las Vegas that has a prize pool of $5,000,000!

John joins a very elite group of Eastern Poker Tour players who have won a BPO title: John Beady, Basil Congro and Eddie Holt
