Eastern Poker Tour’s All Time Winner Wins Another Monthly Championship!
Today was a BEAUTIFUL Summer day.
We had 169 players come down to the Walpole VFW for a chance to take home a piece of the $10,000 prize pool.
Ronnie Smith, Eastern Poker Tour’s all-time wins leader, won today’s event taking home $2500 and is now “Double Stacked” for the Season 34 Finals!
Today’s win is number 250!
Coming into this Final Table, Ronnie was co-chip leader with Nick Sims with 660,000.
Ronnie eliminated at least four players on this table.
When it was three handed, it was Ronnie, John Rebollo and Jean Ellen. Ronnie knocked out John and with about 90% of chips when heads up action started.
Play went back and forth for almost an hour until Jean Ellen had only 200,000 in chips.
When the blinds were 60,000/120,000 ,Ronnie had Q♦ 6♦ vs. Jean’s 8♠ 3♣. Ronnie flopped two pair and took down this very tough Final Table.
Nada was by Ronnie’s side the entire day as his rooting section.
